How long does it take to receive a Google Wave invitation? A friend of mine invited me to Google Wave yesterday, but I still haven't received the email with the invitation. Is there some sort of delay with invitations being processed?

Where can I get a free Google Wave Invitation? I really want a google wave invite, if anyone has or know where can I get a google wave invite, I'd really appreciate it. I got mine, Google Wave invite, from here: You'd have to fill a form, leave your email and name as comment and in a day or two you'll get the invite in your email. There's probably a few invites left, I'd suggest you to try it."

Where can I acquire a Google Wave invite? Google Wave Invitation System seems to be down, and I'd love to be able to collaborate with the other coders I work with more easily.

Google Wave - will it be the next big thing on the Internet? Intrigued to find out people's thoughts on Google Wave (which has only just kicked off in "preview" form to about 100,000 invited users). On the other hand Facebook and Twitter have millions of active users. Who knows - it might be possible for Wave to revolutionize the web. On the other hand, it might end up as a total flop and fail. I personally think it'll be more of a mix between the two. It seems like it has potential and can be better than FB or other sites - but it's not special the way computers are special compared to radios. Anyways, I'm looking forward to getting invited eventually to Wave - I want to see what all the hype's about and if it has a valid foundation or not."

If Wave is popular, it will spread by word of mouth in real life like Facebook did. Being run by Google, a major company in the online world and real world, it will definitely be popular, but it's anyone's guess exactly how popular it will be."

How does Google Wave invite work? Hi, I have a Google Wave preview account with 8 invites. It shows "08 invites left." However, on the top, it says that I am nominating people... This is a bit confusing. Will all 8 people get an invitation, OR only 1 of the 8 people will get an invitation ?? PS: Please do not request for invites.

This is like a "preferred" list, where if you nominate people, they won't get an invitation first, they will just get them sooner than people without someone nominating them. All 8 people will eventually get invites. Hope this Helps! Kevin"

Austin replied: "You can nominate 8 people to get google wave. After you nominate them, it will take about 1-2 days for them to get the invite. Note: the people you invite do not have the ability to invite other people."
