How to watch youtube video on Mobile Windows Media player? I've installed the application as stated in the youtube site on my O2 XDA Atom Life. Under the getting started Help Topics Watch videos on mobile devices To watch a specific video, simply click the video's thumbnail graphic, and it will launch your phone's media player. I can see all the thumbnails of video but when I click it, it started to paralyse the phone's media player and later pop up an error window saying "Cannot play the file because the specified network protocol is not supported. If you entered a URL to play the file, try a different protocol (such as HTTP). If you clicked a link to play the file, the link might not be valid. There is another icon in my program when I installed the application from youtube website, however, it is not playing on the phone's media player and the buffering is slow. I can hear the sound of the video smoothly, but the images simply freeze.

Joy replied: "you may have to install flash player onto your mobile... if that is not possible then.... this can help you... use ' zillatube ' It will help download youtube videos and convert them to mobile video format... then just transfer it to your mobile device. It is the easiest way (and also the fastest). It works very well - to get ZillaTube, click the link below, and select the first search result for download..."

inukjuak90 replied: "YOU DON'T NEED ANY DOWNLOADER OR CONVERTER. SOME ANSWERERS ON YAHOO ARE ACTUALLY DISGUISED SALESPEOPLE TRYING TO "SUCKER" YOU INTO BUYING THEIR BOGUS AND TOTALLY UNNECESSARY PROGRAMS. "Mobile" videos are a totally different animal than regular videos. Only videos specifically uploaded as "Mobile" are ideally suited for portable devices such as cellphones. Thus, you need to find videos that are either in: "3GP" format, "176x144" resolution, or "&fmt=17" quality. For starters, you should not be going to "www.youtube.com" to get your videos, but rather "m.youtube.com". Please check out all 3 of these "YOUTUBE" sites -- everything you need to know is right there: (www . google . com / mobile / default / youtube . html) This is the appropriate website for when you are on a cellphone."

How do i get music on my phone? I'm leaning toward getting a t-mobile dash, but i looked it up and it says i need windows media player and ActiveSync, but i can' t download ActiveSync and Windows Media Player doesn't work on my comp. Is there any other way i can transfer video and audio files to the phone? Or even better how to fix these two applications on my computer. Windows Media Player has the icon on my desktop but when i double-click it says "An Internal Application Error has occured". When i try to download ActiveSync from microsoft.com it says to click the setup.exe link and i can't find it. I know its a lot but please help!!!

Girlish Impulses replied: "I looked over this log and it appears to be a pretty much standard and nothing suspicious. Though I would tell you if you are going to run Java at least download script block for your Firefox browser. That and McAffe anti virus SUCKS. Try Avast Anti-virus. It's free and does a MUCH better job at blocking, detecting viruses and spyware. You aren't EVER going to remove NT_Kernel. It's the core of Windows XP. The Kernel contains all the vital instructions and programming that allows your computer to be something more than an expensive paperweight. Windows will NOT allow you to delete it short of formatting the HDD. You can however change your windows update options from the control panel to not update or notify you when updates are available but not download them and auto install."
